CBD CBG CBN

Let’s Break them down

CBD, or Cannabidiol, is a natural compound found in cannabis plants, including hemp and marijuana. Unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD does NOT produce a psychoactive effect, meaning it doesn’t cause a “high.” CBD interacts with the Endocannabinoid system in the human body, influencing various physiological processes. It is often used for its potential therapeutic benefits, including relief from anxiety, pain, inflammation, and certain medical conditions. CBD is available in various forms, such as oils, tinctures, capsules, and topical products, making it a popular choice for those seeking a natural approach to wellness.

CBG, or Cannabigerol
Although CBG is known as the “mother of all cannabinoids,” it is much less common than CBD and THC. Like CBD, CBG is non-psychoactive, meaning it doesn’t produce a high. Research suggests that CBG may have potential therapeutic benefits, inducing critical anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, and potential appetite stimulation. Research indicates that, like CBD and THC, CBG alone may effectively reduce pain.

CBN, or cannabinol, is another compound found in the cannabis plant. CBN is a lesser known compound but is quickly gaining popularity for its potential as a sleep aid. It has no psychoactive properties either. However, researchers believe this cannabinoid’s primary benefits are its potent anti-inflammatory effects. Studies also show that CBN interacts directly with neurons responsible for signaling pain.
